GET TO KNOW – STAKKUP A$E

Stakkup A$E is a Baltimore rapper born and raised in Baltimore City. He spent his early years growing up in Cherry Hill and Perkins Homes. His later years were spent growing up in Summer Set Extensions a.k.a. “EXT” with best friends Titty and Cal who told him he was the best rapper they’ve heard which motivated him to pursue music further.
A$E started playing around with rap at the young age of 13 where he rapped over industry beats. A neighborhood hoop star by the name of Pooh Bear heard him rap and took him to a mutual associate and neighborhood producer by the name of Ricky Ray where he recorded his first track.
A$E gives credit to Rakim, 2Pac, and Cam’ron for being the artist who he drew inspiration from early on that led to his lyrical ability and cocky style. A$E has worked with the likes of Frank Nitty, Tyree Colion, Nephew, FreeBandz Testme, and Slim of the Blue Benjamin gang to name a few. He was also a member of the groups, U.A. M.O.B.B., K.U.M.I.T.I.,and the Vulture Gang before pursuing his solo career. Most recently, he’s teamed up with indie label Stakk Up Music Syndicate where he’s rebranded himself as Stakkup A$E and is heavily involved in the underground rap community. He aspires to work with some of the greats like Cam’ron, Nas, Future, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z. A$E is on the rise to be the most successful rapper in his city.
